We begin extracting information regarding the patient’s situation from the first visit. This first visit consists of a thorough, personalized review of the patient by our team of optometrists and ophthalmologists in order to evaluate the case on an individualized basis.
The patient is informed about what the procedure consists of, as well as the results they can expect to obtain from the surgery.
On this first visit it is our goal to resolve any doubts or concerns that the patient may have. At the same time, the ophthalmologist will inform the patient if they fit the profile and specifications to make them an appropriate candidate for the procedure.
We will obviously only recommend treatment in those cases where we can guarantee success.
The sole purpose of this first visit is to completely inform the patient and erase any doubts they may have. It is free of charge and the patient does not need to commit to anything at this time.
