The 1st edition of the Barcelona International Eye Laser Congress (LOB’25) was held with great success on November 7 of 2025, at the L’Illa Auditorium in Barcelona. This event brought together more than 50 speakers and professionals from around the world to share knowledge, scientific advances, and innovative applications of laser technology in ophthalmology and oculofacial aesthetics.
During the congress, advanced clinical protocols and real results were presented in areas such as:
- Refractive laser and presbyopia treatment.
- Cataract, glaucoma, and retinal and macular diseases surgery.
- Innovations in cosmetic iridoplasty and keratopigmentation.
- Advances in phototherapy, physical therapies, and new laser platforms for ocular aesthetics.
- Applications of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology.
The event was also a meeting point for professional exchange and networking among specialists from different disciplines, consolidating itself as a highlight on the international calendar of modern ophthalmology and laser technology.
